The number of lessons you need depends upon a number of things the main ones being;
- Your previous dance experience, skill level and ability to learn
- The complexity of the dance you choose
- Is it just the bride and groom or others as well
- How long you have to learn it it if it is left to the last minute!
- Do you want to learn to dance so you can continue to enjoy dancing or is it just for the one day
It is impossible to say without a consultation however from experience these are the typical times;
The Minimum
- Basic Dance
- Non Dancers
- Bride and Groom only
We would suggest a minimum of 5 lessons. It can be done in as little as 3 lessons but it is not recommended.
Something Special
- A more ambitious Choreography
- More complex dance
- Want to make a statement
We need to quote but would think 7 to 10 lessons should be plenty
Father/Daughter and Mother/Son, Fathers and Mothers, Additional Bridal Party Members etc
It is becoming very popular for the Bride to dance with her Dad and the Groom with his Mum. Some choose to involve both sets of parents or the other members of the bridal party.
- We can accommodate any of these easily. In most cases we can teach additional dancers as a group.
- Generally it takes between 3 to 5 lessons for a basic dance.
- Individual dance lessons are optimal but at an additional cost.
- Lessons are charged an hourly rate for a couple.
- The price based the number of lessons taken.
- For group lessons there is extra charge for each student
All of these options will be discussed at the free consultation
